The technology press has been joined by the blogosphere, twittersphere, and social-networks-sphere in heralding the news from the UK that online advertising spend has overtaken TV advertising spend for the first time, a good 12 months ahead of predictions. And whilst everyone is commenting on the clear sea change that this represents, I can’t help but wonder if the research has revealed an even more important underlying trend that has gone unnoticed.

Cork comes very close indeed to the misty eyed vision of the country many visitors hold in their imagination.
Follow winding roads and head south or west of Cork City and explore the county’s three rocky peninsulas that extend in to the Atlantic. Wild coastlines, colourful fishing villages and romantic harbours and of course the best food in Ireland along our Gourmet Riviera await your pleasure.
Journeying east, golden beaches and atmospheric market towns shaped by history and the weather are all to be discovered at a leisurely pace. Meanwhile the north of the county is shaped by gently rolling hills, historic country houses and a wealth of outdoor activities.
Cork has it all, so come make it yours.
