We are delighted to be involved with the historic state visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Cork on May 20th 2011. Why not take a look at the site on www.queensvisittocork.com
We added some recently completed website projects to our gallery. 2010 has been a very busy year so far thankfully with a wide range of projects across web, new media and movie production. Why not take a browse through some of our projects by clicking the link below.
We’ve recently wrapped up production of a promotional movie for www.discoveringcork.ie
Mixed together with some amazing footage supplied from Tourism Ireland we shot on location at various points of interest in Cork City including the Bodega on Cornmarket Street. The audio track also includes music from Hank Wedel and Open Kitchen.

We have invested heavily in state of the art production equipment to ensure the very best results possible for the projects we produce. Below you will find information on the tools we use. All of the equipment can be installed in locations suited to any project you may have.
Our main camera is a Canon XLH1 shooting 50i Full High Definition. The pictures we get from this workhorse are simply stunning. The 20x high definition lens is one of the best available in the professional range of cameras we looked at when upgrading our equipment. The XL H1’s image settings allow us complete control over the image, whether we are seeking that unique look or matching another camera. This type of versatility is unmatched in the other equipment we looked at. The Canon XL H1 is fully equipped with the professional features we need for any project we find ourselves working on: from documentaries to studio broadcast environments, interviews, promo dvds and online video content, It never fails to disappoint.
The backup to our high definition camera is the standard definition version the older Canon XL1. While not used as often, it does give us an alternative to shoot different angles when the quality difference is not an issue while the main camera is busy shooting the main scenes. Again a superb lens compliments this filmaker’s favorite.
To cater for our interview and green screen shoots we have a range of various portable lighting systems. Included are: Umbrella stands with translucent and reflective attachments. 1.5 metre softbox for portrait filming and stills, ensuring the best tones are produced. 1000W Red Head to flood a location with light with a range of colour gels to create a range of effects.
We prefer to use Sennheiser Radio Microphones when filming interviews as they have proved time and time to give the best results. Clear, crisp audio is as important and sharp images and we achieve great results with a range of clip on and hand held microphones useful for on location and on street filming for interviews and voxpops.
To produce the best results when filming presenters when the need to replace the background we have invested in a 12 feet wide green screen backdrop system that can be installed on-location or in-studio depending on what is required. The high quality of this system combined with our lighting rig ensures a sharp image when filming.
Most hand-held shots suffer from a distinct jerkiness. Undesired shocks of walking consist of two elements:
* quick movement of the entire camera by a small amount, and
* rotation of the camera itself (tilt, pan, and roll).
Successful isolation will significantly reduce the size of both types of movement.
Our steadicam features:-
* Universal Camera base plate
* Adjustable Gimbal
* Aluminium Bracket Mounts(For Weights & Moniter)
